smoker/ bbq/ grill
2 oz mozzarella cheese
12 dill pickles, 1L/ 32 oz jar
12 bacon strips
Your favorite spice rub
Dill Pickle Dip
½ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
1 tablespoons freeze dried dill
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Cut mozzarella cheese into ¼ to 3/8” width and 2” lengths
Slice pickles in half lengthwise.
On each side of the pickle, slice a V to cut out the soft part of the pickle with seeds.
Insert the mozzarella cheese between the pickle halves.
Use a bacon strip to wrap around the pickle and place on a rack onto a baking sheet.
Generously sprinkle on your favorite spice rub.
Feel free to set aside pan of wrapped pickles in refrigerator until ready to cook
Warm up smoker/ BBQ/ grill to 350F.
Cook pickles on one side for 15 minutes.
Flip pickles on the other side for 10 minutes.
Flip pickles another 10 minutes until bacon is sizzling on the outside.
